Ergo 30 CCPM SS (Semi Scale)
JR's 30 CCPM SS (SS for semi scale) Huges/Schwitzer 300 offers a great learning machine with a scale look. The 30 CCPM SS uses the same head, control system, tail rotor and drive train as the CCPM 30, but utilizes different side frames to accommodate the scale lower tail boom position, a forward facing engine and rear mounted tank.
The Ergo 30 CCPM SS utilizes JR's CCPM technology (Cyclic/Collective Pitch Mixing), a system which mounts 3 servos below the swashplate, with short, straight linkages directly to the swashplate at 120 degree intervals. With CCPM, complex collective and cyclic mixing is accomplished electronically, rather then mechanically. As a result, many parts are eliminated, along with excessive control system play. Not to mention the quicker building time and lower required maintenance.
What's more you get more power from CCPM. That's because instead of one servo moving the collective, you now have three. Instead of one servo moving the cyclic, you have two.
The scale appearance of the 30 CCPM SS comes from a molded polypropylene scale canopy and dual gas tanks. The tail boom carrier, tail rotor gearbox halves, and tail fins are also molded in red, so no painting is necessary. The large trademark glass bubble huges 300 canopy is duplicated with crystal clear lexan and decals.
For heli pilots who enjoy scale, JR's 30 CCPM SS will have you in the air making low-level, crop-dusting passes with less effort and time involved than building a standard machine thanks to CCPM. Engine, radio, muffler and other accessories are not included but can be added. Look below for options.
