This is a 1/18 Scale Diecast 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am from Yat Ming. For Adult Collectors.
The Tenth Anniversary Trans Am came with the Oldsmobile-built 403 V-8 that was standard in the normal versions, but Pontiac had saved some of its own 400 c.i.d. V-8s with higher horsepower for this special birthday model, even though the engine had been dropped for 1979. A very few 400s were teamed with a four-speed manual gearbox, making this the most desirable geartrain of the lot.
FEATURES: Black die cast body with Firebird decals on hood has all of the appropriate Firebird Trans Am emblems. Top features smoked plastic T-tops. Realistic headlights, tail lights and turn signals. Hood opens to show detailed engine. Opening doors. Highly detailed Grey interior includes dash with gauges, console with shifter, rearview mirror, pedal cluster, and realistically molded seats and door panels. Clear plastic windows. Chrome wheels with Black treaded tires. Detailed undercarriage with Silver exhaust. Working steering mechanism. Presented on a removable Black plastic base with the name of the vehicle on a Gold plaque.
